Time to dust off those running shoes again for another trip among stunning scenery in NLNP. Either 24km or 29km of trail (including about 3km off trail) and about 1400m of climbing (or 1950m if you also climb Angelus Peak). 3 to 4 hours from the carpark to Angelus Hut; 2 hrs to Angelus Peak summit and return; 3 to 4 hours from the hut back to the carpark. Plus stops. So a longish day. Weather forecast must be reasonably good. Last time I did this trip with the club (1 March 2009 - 75th anniversary celebration) we were 5, and flagged the side trip up Angelus Peak due to light rain and heavy wind gusts.
